Machon Shilo is saddened to announce the passing of Mori Shlomo Ben Avraham on layl Shabbath.
Rabbi David Bar-Hayim knew Mori Ben Avraham well and urges attendance at the funeral both because of who he was and what he achieved. Mori Ben Avraham created the Mechon Memre website which many of us use and which has different extremely useful resources for both Jew and Gentile, including accurate versions of the Mishne Torah and Tanach.
The funeral will take place on Yom 1 (Sunday) at 13:00 at Har HaMenuchot South, Sha'ar Yosef at the Chelkat HaTeimanim. ( One turns left after Herzog hospital, after the guard booth, before the parking area)
