The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Errors on download links PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 20 January 2011 00:00
Our volunteer staff have been working to post many more of the wonderful shiurim of the last several months.  In recent days some of the emails that went out had some links with errors in them.  We apologize for the inconvenience and have been correcting them as well as putting into place a check system to prevent incorrect links from being posted in the the future.

For those of you who have gotten emails with broken links there are two things you can do to still find the item.

1. Use the text search box on the website,  just enter a keyword from the shiur and hit enter on your keyboard to see a list of related items.

2.  You can normally use the title of the shiur from the email which has a link in it to reach the webpage where it is posted,  when incorrect links were sent out they have been usually fixed within a short period.  But the download link in the email will still be wrong.  By going to the article webpage you can still download the article with the corrected link.

An example of a webpage link from an email is below.  The title link is working even though the direct download link at the bottom is not,  use the title link to reach the page, and then you will be able to use the fixed download link found on the actual webpage.

Posted: 19 Jan 2011 06:13 AM PST

A rav from Eress Yisrael is quoted in the Babylonian Talmudh as referring to the Torah of Babylon as "darkness." What distinguishes the Torah of Eress Yisrael? What does the word "Talmudh" means?
